Baby Bella

I made it back to sunny St. George after my rainy weekend in northern Utah. Rain and all, it ended up being a great couple of days full entertaining sessions. I was able to work with some amazingly talented people and spend some much needed girl time with my two sisters. YAY! It was worth every minute of the 5 plus hour drive. Here is a micro sneak peek of one of the fun sessions I had the pleasure to shoot.

Don’t forget to check out some exciting new work HERE! As well as info on the Roadtrip Foto workshops Here. Just being near Park City this past weekend made me full of anticipation for the workshop in June. You will not want to miss out!

It has been one month and a day since my return from Kadavu. It is so strange to think that although my visit wasn’t nearly as long as I would have liked, I still had the most wonderful opportunity to meet people who will be my friends forever. I miss them dearly and I look forward to returning to document out progress on the water projects, as well as to spend time with my new ” Fijian family”. I still have so many pictures that I am going through and would love to share so there will inevitably be a part three of my Fijian pictures.
Enjoy.

Also, don’t forget to check out Roadtrip foto’s next photography workshop. Find more info HERE.
Nikon D80: $410
Condition: Great! I used this camera most of the time in Fiji because it is light weight and it is compatible to my wide-angle lens. I purchased it about a year and a half ago and it has mostly served as a great back up camera. I still have the original box and manuals that came with its purchase.

If you are interested in purchasing, please feel free to email me at Serena@serenagene.com or call me @ 435-760-5220.
Thanks!
As always, I had so much fun taking beautiful Tori’s pictures. She is super spunky and fashionable and I just adore her!
I also want to thank Michelle {my cousin/BFF} for coming to assist Tori and I as we walked through the streets using Michelle as a human clothing rack. Love you both!

The Closet Revival is holding a little boutique tomorrow (Saturday) night, at 6:00, and will have some really fun vendors, including Malea and I!!! So come and see us, and get a little sneak peek of what we are working on! Soon to be brides, you won’t want to miss out on our drawing! Can’t wait to see and meet you!!

I am still in the processes of catching up on photography since my return from Fiji. I loved how laid back and “slow going” it was in Kadavu and I am afraid it has rubbed off on me a bit. Probably not a bad thing aside from the fact that I have files of pictures just waiting for me to edit them. All in due time right?
Here is a sneak peek of part 2 Fiji. Just one for now, more later.

Below are just a handful of pictures for you to enjoy of beautiful Ashley and darling baby Daxton.

Ashley has started a new online book club. If you love to read, check out her blog HERE. Below are a few fun pictures for her site…

Here are just a handful of pictures that I was able to take while I was visiting Kadavu, Fiji to see the progress on our water project. The people of the Kadavu island are like no other people I have ever met. They may have very little but never the less they welcomed us tenderheartedly. They share with us their homes, their amazingly delicious food, their friendship and most importantly they shared with us many lessons of life. I am definitely a changed person because of these wonderful, wonderful people. They were able to share so much with us but one thing they couldn’t share with us was not even a drop of safe and clean drinking water. Why? Because they do not have this basic human need available to them. This is why we are in Fiji. This is what we want to give back to these beautiful people who are most deserving of clean water day to day.
The below pictures are only the beginning of what I captured while in Kadavu. Most of the pictures will be available for purchase and all monies will go 100% towards a water project for a Kadavu village. If you are interested in purchasing a print please email me at serena@wananavukadavu.org. For more information on Wananavu Kadavu click HERE…
