Life.

My goodness how time gets away…
I have been so preoccupied with life and such that I have hardly had a chance to think about my awaiting blog.
I will give you a quick update of what I have been working on these last few weeks. As always I tend to take on mounds of projects that I dream about finishing but a couple of weeks ago I actually completed a few of them. I bought an old banged up piano and have been putting a little elbow-grease into fixing it up. I am now almost down with painting it and I am excited to share.
In other news, I have been quite busy shooting weddings with my “all things wedding” business OF MY AFFECTION PHOTOGRAPHY. Malea and I really have such a great time working with couples in love and every session-wedding is wonderfully fun to shoot.
We have been working on something really big but it is still under-wraps for a bit. It will be so exciting to share, it feels like the beginning of a dream come true. Eeek!
I also just returned home from a week of beach camping on the West coast. It was perfection, nothing less! I will share pics when I get a minute.
Last but not least I have been so excited about our WATER PROJECTS upcoming golf tournament. Things are going so well for our foundation and we have made so much progress in the rural villages in Kadavu.
Until I can post again, here are a few simple little pictures.

Summer days….

1(Cali I am coming to visit)

I love summer, I mostly love having my kids at home and of course summer vacations. Lucky for me I still have a week before I send the kiddos back to school and even more fun, we are spending it on the west coast! Yay! What could be better than that?  Oh…  I know, we are not only going to be spending a fun and relaxing week at the beach, we will be chill’n with my best bud Malea and her adorable family. Yep, it is going to be a blast. It is also time again for my very own families pictures. If you don’t remember our last attempt at this, you can read all about the fiasco HERE. Let’s all hope we have a little more success this time around.

That being said, my summer is nearing it’s end and although I am terribly sad about it, it might also bring an end to my major blog slacking. When I get back I will try to be much better at keeping up on posting. I am so grateful for everyone that has shown interest in my photos and I really appreciate all the support many of  you have shown. You are all the best!!! xoxoxo

Oh how I love her…

Little miss Bri is already over a year old now and I seriously can’t over the feeling that it was just yesterday that I took her newborn pictures. Time would you please slow down!
Isn’t she just a doll-baby?! I could take her pictures all day long!
Enjoy!

baby coming soon…

My dear friend Shannon is waiting for the arrival of her second little one!!! Very soon she will have a new baby boy in her home and I am truly excited and full of delight for the Kaeding family. Below are just a few pictures we shoot a couple weeks back. Nothing sweeter and more miraculous than a belly with a baby in it.

Getting a handful of good pictures with one toddler is always a task… try two!!! We were spent after our visit to the laundromat but it was well worth the exhaustion. Enjoy!

We had such an amazing weekend in Park City for our Roadtrip foto workshop. It is so much fun to meet new people who are passionate about the same things you are. On our last day in Park City we spent the morning horseback riding, it was beautiful and to be honest slightly scary because my darling big horse decided it didn’t like any of the other horses and was kicking at them any time we would get too close. Let’s just say it was fun but a bit of a relief once the ride was over. :) From Park City I headed to Salt Lake City for the week. It has been much needed to spend some relaxing and laid-back time with the kiddos. I love having my kids home for the summer and I love just lazing the days away with them. Before I head home, I will be attending an event on Wednesday night at the New Yorker for Wananavu Kadavu. The event is to raise money for the water project, it should be a wonderful evening. Until I actually have a full post to share, here are just a few pics from last weekend. I just love my boys!

Hello!

blog1
Pardon my lack of posting as of late, there has been quite a lot going on. I have been running back and froth from northern Utah to southern Utah so much that I might as well call the entire state of Utah my home. :) I returned to St. George Tuesday afternoon and I am leaving tomorrow morning to head back up to Park City for our Roadtrip Foto photography workshop. I am beyond excited to spend a weekend at the ranch and be in great company. For now I just wanted to hop on the blog and say a quick hello and that I will be posting an actual session as soon as possible. Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!

.a collaboration.

Yay, this was such an amazingly fun shoot! I had the opportunity to work with a handful of super talented gals and beautiful models. We had a long and great day of shooting and I ended up with way too many pictures to decided from. For now here is what I have finished. There may be more to come. Enjoy!

God has blessed me with so many gifts to carry through my mortal life. This child is just one of my most precious blessings. He is one of my three little angels and I love him dearly.
